This feature is designed to give you functional training tools for your off days when you are not training capoeira. We will be looking at various exercises that we will have as resources for you to devise a strategy for your overall physical development as a capoeirista.

This week we look at shoulder joint stability. The shoulder joint is unique in the body in that the joint is stabilized predominantly by muscles and muscles only. There is very little structure in the way of bone or cartilage to stabilize the joint, yet it has a huge range of motion in many planes and directions.
Good posture and balanced musculature are essential.
